Children’s Museum of Atlanta will present Stephanie Blank with the Power of Play Award at its upcoming Imagination Ball on March 21. The annual fundraising gala supports the museum’s mission to provide play-based learning for all children.
“Funds raised during Imagination Ball ensure children of all backgrounds have access to engaging, play-based learning experiences,” the museum stated in its announcement.
The adults-only event, held at the Atlanta History Center, will feature drinks, activities, dinner and a live auction. Georgia Natural Gas is presenting the gala, with Wonya Lucas and Bharath Parthasarathy serving as co-chairs.
This year’s theme offers what organizers call “an elevated take on a state fair,” with guests encouraged to wear “Friday Night Festive” attire.
Money raised will support access programs, outreach initiatives and exhibits at the museum.
