All eyes around the world were on the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Saturday, and Georgia was no different. While Georgians were intrigued by the prospect of an American princess and by all of the pomp of a royal wedding, two aspects of the wedding earned the most comment from Georgia residents on social media.
According to Twitter posts, Georgians were particularly interested in the gospel choir and the sermon by Bishop Michael Curry. Here are some of the tweets from your fellow Georgians on Royal Wedding Day.
the British are shook by this American preacher. I love it. #royalwedding

Couldn’t resist watching the royal wedding. Amazed by the evolution of royal monarchy. Loved Bishop Curry sermon. Understand how shocking having his style of preaching in a royal wedding may be. Awesome! #royalwedding

I'm a jaded journalist, so it's bizarre to say the #royalwedding just restored a little bit of my faith in humanity. #totallyunexpected pic.twitter.com/HMqz41ojnr
