New Details: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the man found deceased in an alleyway off First Street Lane in downtown Macon with a severe head wound on Sunday. The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Albert Kenneth Knight.

Homicide Confirmed: Further investigation has revealed that Knight’s death was not an accident, but a homicide. According to investigators, Knight had been struck several times in the head, leading to his death.

Investigation Continues:

  • Knight’s body will be taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
