Two 17-year-olds were arrested in Macon late Monday after investigators recovered a stolen vehicle, firearms, and ammunition at a gas station on Rocky Creek Road.
What Happened: Around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies found a Kia Soul reported stolen three days earlier. When officers approached the vehicle, the suspects fled into nearby woods. Following a brief chase, investigators apprehended both teens. Authorities also recovered firearms, ammunition, and an extended magazine during the investigation. One firearm was confirmed to have been stolen.
The Arrests: The suspects, K’Shon Altorius Dean and Jontraevious Markell Robinson, both of Macon, were transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center after questioning. Dean faces charges of felony theft by receiving stolen property and probation violation. Robinson is also charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property and was out on bond for armed robbery, hijacking a motor vehicle, and aggravated assault. His bond has been revoked.
What’s Next: Both teens are being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
