🔍 The Details: The Gwinnett Police Department is investigating the tragic death of Mia Campos, a 16-year-old girl found in a wooded area on July 15. Campos was reported missing by her family, who used a cell phone application to locate her body near Stephens Road in Loganville.

At around 1:00 am on July 15, officers responded to the 3600 block of Stephens Road after Campos’ family discovered her body. They reported that she had left the house the previous night with an unknown person and did not return home.

Investigators initially could not determine the cause of death at the scene. However, after an autopsy on July 16, the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.
