Albany police have now released the names of both the victim and the suspect involved in the August 9, 2024, homicide that killed a 19-year-old.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Aaron White, who was shot in the 300 block of Grant Place early Friday morning. White was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Albany Police Department has also named a person of interest in the case: 19-year-old Trinity Jenkins. Law enforcement is actively searching for Jenkins and is seeking public assistance in locating the suspect.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing, with police urging anyone with information to contact them directly or submit tips anonymously.
