Police responded to a missing persons call on Paden Mill Trail at about 1:05 p.m. Wednesday.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the body of a 16-year-old boy located behind the house with a gunshot wound. The victim’s identity is being withheld until family members have been notified.
Gwinnett Police Homicide Detectives are currently at the scene, questioning witnesses. Additionally, the Crime Scene Unit is processing the area for evidence.
At this time, there is no information on a suspect or motive for the crime.
