A fugitive wanted for multiple charges, including first-degree sexual assault, is now in custody thanks to the vigilant work of Glynn County Police officers.
🚨 The Details: Jamel Rasheen Young, subject to a nationwide extraditable warrant, was arrested Monday evening at Eagle Pointe Apartments. Naugatuck, Connecticut, police had tipped off Glynn County Police Department about Young’s likely arrival at his sister’s apartment in Glynn County.
Acting on this intelligence, Officers Annalyse DeBruijn, William Duggan, and Mark Lund strategically positioned themselves near the apartment. Shortly after Young’s arrival, they apprehended him without incident.
He is currently held at the Glynn County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to Connecticut to face charges of first-degree sexual assault, attempted first-degree sexual assault, and fourth-degree sexual assault.
