One man is dead and another wounded after a shooting in Austell. The suspect is now in custody as authorities continue their investigation.

The Details: In the early hours of November 3, officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting at 4250 Linworth Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Jeffrey Moore, 54, of LaGrange, was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim, Mikal Hart, 44, also of LaGrange, is in stable condition.

The suspect, Courtney Woullard, 42, of Austell, was apprehended at the scene without incident. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit have charged Woullard with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
