Three people died Thursday when their stolen Range Rover crashed into a tractor-trailer during a police pursuit on I-75 in Crisp County.

The Details: The chase began in Houston County and ended near mile marker 103 when the Range Rover struck the back of a semi-truck. All three people in the SUV died at the scene. The truck driver received medical evaluation from Crisp County EMS and was released.

In Context: This marks the second deadly crash in Crisp County this week.

What’s Next: The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team continues to investigate the crash while the Crisp County Coroner works to identify the deceased.
