Why it matters: The revolutionary application, Live911, developed by HigherGround Inc., provides officers with real-time audio and location information on incoming emergencies, reducing response times and giving officers a head start.

The technology eliminates inherent dispatching delays and has already saved lives.

Only 78 agencies nationwide have this capability.

How it works: Live911 allows first responders to hear every detail of the incoming emergency and provides the 911 caller’s exact location on a map. It closes the time gap between police call-takers and first responders, giving officers the ability to obtain more information for a better response plan.
