A 19-year-old man is dead following a shooting early this morning in Albany.
According to the Albany Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of Grant Place at approximately 12:50 a.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
