This past weekend nine gymnasts from Sumter Gymnastics traveled to Tampa Florida to compete in the AAU National Championships as a part of Team Georgia. Over 1600 gymnasts from around the country travelled to Tampa for this competition. The nine gymnasts brought home over 30 medals between them including a National Champion.

A power surge that occurred early Tuesday caused a failure in an essential piece of Glynn County’s networking equipment. As a result, Glynn County offices are experiencing an outage in phone and email communications. This outage effects all Glynn County offices including, the Court System, the Detention Center, the Police Department, the Fire Departments, the Libraries, Recreation and Parks, Animal Control, Public Works and all offices in the W.
