Baldwin County has closed all of its public schools today after a water main break has made conditions unsafe for students.
The water main break is described as major and is in the area of Blandy Road.
The break is a feeder line that provides water to most of the schools in the area.
Students will be learning remotely and all staff will also be working virtually.
School officials say school is expected to continue as normal Friday, December 18, unless conditions from the water main break deem it unsafe to do so.
