ATLANTA — Over the weekend, the Atlanta Police Department continued its ongoing crackdown on street racing within the city limits.
Between Friday and Sunday, the department conducted 36 traffic stops for street racing and issued 10 citations. A total of three arrests were made and three vehicles were impounded.
One vehicle fled police.
Police are asking motorists to help them rid the city of street racing by dialing 911 to report street racers.
