🚓 The Details: According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s office, on Monday evening at about 5:39 p.m., a call was made to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center regarding a severe accident involving a motorcyclist and a BMW X3.
Authorities say the crash occurred when the motorcyclist, heading west on Columbus Road, collided with the vehicle as it was turning onto the road from Cavalier Drive. Emergency services swiftly responded, transporting the motorcyclist, identified as 49-year-old Willard Owen Gilbow of Macon, to Atrium Navicent Healthcare.
Despite their efforts, Gilbow succumbed to his injuries.
