MACON — A man was hit and killed by a car on Ocmulgee East Blvd around 9:09 p.m. Sunday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car returned to the scene to report the incident.
The man’s identity has not been released, and Coroner Lonnie Miley stated that the next of kin has not been notified.
