Taylor Swift is back from her concerts in Tokyo, Japan, though she flew into Los Angeles, instead of Las Vegas, on Saturday evening.
Swift is expected to make her way down to Las Vegas on Sunday, ahead of Super Bowl 58, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers.
There’s a good reason why Swift couldn’t see her boyfriend before kickoff, though. Travis Kelce, along with the rest of his Chiefs teammates, were not allowed to see their significant others the night before the big game.
“Players are NOT allowed to stay with wives/GFs the night before games—any games. …We’re hearing in its full effect this week,” TMZ reported.
TMZ added: “when it comes to Super Bowl Sunday, the players are basically on lockdown for the wee hours of the night.”
This is no surprise, of course. The night and hours before a game are lock in time for the players and coaches.
Kelce will get to see Swift following the game. If the Chiefs pull out the win, they will surely be galavanting around Las Vegas, celebrating the Super Bowl win.
Kickoff at the Super Bowl is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. E.T. on Sunday night. The game will air on CBS.
