DULUTH — A 25-year-old man, Antonio Cartagena, was arrested in Duluth on October 10 following a disturbing incident that took place in a Lyft ride-sharing vehicle.
According to the Duluth Police Department, the alarming event occurred when Cartagena, a rear seat passenger, inappropriately touched a 55-year-old female rider at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and North Berkeley Lake Road. The startled victim turned to find Cartagena partially nude and committing lewd acts. Following the incident, he exited the car and fled before authorities could arrive.
Cartagena is currently facing charges of sexual battery and public indecency. Following his arrest, Cartagena was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail.
