A shooting at a Taco Mac in Cobb County Monday during the lunch rush shook the community and the metro Atlanta area.
Here’s what we know so far.
Cobb County Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the deadly shooting outside the Taco Mac located at 3101 Cobb Parkway in the Vinings area near Atlanta.
At about 12:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call of a person shot at Taco Mac. Officers arrived and found the victim, 24-year-old Larry Miller of Atlanta, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside the restaurant.

Miller was taken to Kennestone Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The suspect, Peter Lampley, was detained at the scene and later charged by detectives with murder.
Lampley had arrived at Taco Mac with Larry Miller on a lunch break, but it is not clear why Lampley shot Miller.
