Duluth’s Moneypenny has been officially accredited as a Great Place to Work-Certified organization, a certification based on anonymous surveys of employee experience, scoring the business across different aspects of workplace culture. The company, a leading provider of answering services, outsourced switchboards, Live Chat and outbound calls for small and large businesses, also opened a Wellness Room for its 250 local employees this month to provide them with a place for quiet respite and the chance to recharge.
A growing global business that has chosen the Atlanta area for its US headquarters, Moneypenny completed its Duluth office in early 2021, doubling the size of its previous premises. At 27,000 square-feet, the whole space has been specially soundproofed, complete with airy desk pods and state-of-the-art headsets to minimize background noise, both for callers, and to create a pleasant environment for the Atlanta team. The new Wellness Room, expertly decorated by local executive assistant Elizabeth Beebe, has a calming neutral feel, with plenty of homely touches.
“Our open-plan office is amazing. It puts a smile on the face of everyone in the team, encourages socializing and is a great place for us to share celebrations, achievements, or just a coffee,” commented Sheila Davidson, vice president of operations. “But, we felt we needed a space for those times where our team can take five, decompress, and center themselves.”
Receiving Certification with Great Place to Work means the company’s efforts to make mental and physical health a top priority has paid off with employees.

The process also requires written submission from organizations, outlining their employee
experience, how its people are involved in developing new ideas and better ways of doing
things, and how, regardless of their role, employees are made to feel included and able to
reach their highest potential.
