Georgia residents brace for freezing weather

A freeze warning is in effect Saturday night and Sunday morning. If you haven’t already, now is the time to make sure your house is winterized, your pets are inside and your plants are protected from freezing temperatures.

Freezing temperatures are expected for most of north and central Georgia, with portions of far east central Georgia under a Frost Advisory. Frost and Freeze conditions could damage crops and other sensitive vegetation.

Beyond Sunday, a cold airmass will continue to pose frost or freeze concerns for portions of north and central Georgia each morning through Tuesday morning, otherwise no hazardous weather is expected.
