The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that happened at the Dollar General at 5544 Thomaston Road at 10:25 p.m. Sunday night.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department, a man entered the store brandishing a pistol. The robber demanded money from the clerk and fled on foot before deputies arrived, after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during this incident.
According to sheriff’s officials, the man is described as being about 5’10”, wearing dark clothing with his face and hands covered.
