Police: Georgia woman admits to stabbing husband to death

TUCKER — The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a fatal domestic incident in Tucker August 17.  Officers arrived at a house on Preston Lake Drive just after 1 a.m. to find a male dead from a stab wound.

According to police, officers spoke with the wife, who admitted to stabbing the husband during a domestic altercation inside the residence.  Investigators are speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence in the case. 

At this time, there are no criminal charges.

The identity of both parties is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
