SOCIAL CIRCLE — The GBI is investigating two deaths in Social Circle that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to investigators, preliminary information indicates that Social Circle Police Officers responded to Thurman Baccus Road for a report of two individuals found on the road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman both with apparent gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims have been identified as 27-year-old James Robert Evans and 32-year-old Jaymine Whitlock.
