The Georgia Department of Public Health released its weekly list of long-term care facilities that have had confirmed cases of coronavirus either from residents or staff.
Long-term care facilities generally refers to nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and coronavirus is known to spread rapidly in these types of facilities.
More details were given this week such as the number of cases and the number of deaths recorded at each facility.
A note about the numbers: The data in this report is contingent on what information has been provided to, and verified by, the Department of Public Health. It is possible that a facility is reporting different numbers to different entities, but unless it has been verified by the Department of Public Health, it will not be included in this weekly report.
