DALLAS — After construction aimed at ridding their home of mold gave spiders ample opportunity to lay more eggs and take over the house, A family of 9 who live in Dallas are now no longer able to reside there.

The family has been advised to wait for winter weather to fumigate the entire home, which will cost a hefty $13,000.

The GoFundMe was set up for living costs until the weather is cool enough to fumigate, as well as to fund the treatment itself.

According to Nicolai Adams, who set up the campaign, she and her husband bought the house on July 31 last year and have been battling the spiders ever since.

“We’re running out of time on finding a place to stay because school starts August 1st. We have one in preschool, five and Elementary, and one going into 6th grade and I can’t handle being apart from them anymore. We need to find a temporary home so we can be together,” Adams said on the GoFundMe page.
