Atlanta-based Mark Spain Real Estate has been recognized for a third consecutive year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle with the Pacesetter Award. This award annually honors metro Atlanta’s top fastest-growing privately held companies with a track record for revenue and employee growth. The top 100 list was published online and in the April 26, 2019 issue of Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Mark Spain Real Estate has experienced a two-year revenue growth of 59 percent. In that same period, its employee growth was nearly 150 percent. Appearing in the No. 39 spot, the locally owned, independent real estate firm was also just named to Atlanta’s Top 25 Residential Real Estate Companies list for the second straight year. Mark Spain Real Estate’s $708 million in gross residential sales in 2018 moved the firm up four spots on the list to No. 18.

In 2018, Mark Spain Real Estate had 2,548 home sales and increased its sales 129 percent, year-over-year. On average, the Mark Spain team sold 10.5 homes per business day in 2018.

The Pacesetter Award is part of a growing list of honors, including CEO Mark Spain being named one of 50 real estate executives on the 2019 REAL Trends Game Changers list. He was the only person in Georgia to be recognized as an industry game changer. Mark Spain Real Estate was named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list for a second time last fall. The Inc. 5000 is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
