The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person, at what appears to be a campsite, located in a wooded area near Central City Park.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male in the wooded area. Police say investigators discovered that the man had been stabbed in the back.
Investigators were able to identify the victim as 35-year-old Ryan Lee Glover. The next of kin has been notified.

UPDATE: Police are searching for Thelonius McAuthor Sumpter, who police say is wanted for questioning in connection with this homicide investigation.
