In a few short years, Julian “JuJu” Lewis plans to be suiting up for Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans.
For now, the five-star signal caller remains torching defenses as one of the nation’s best high school football quarterbacks.
Lewis led Carrollton to a 56-24 win over East Coweta on Friday with his most productive game of the 2023 season, finishing with 455 yards and six touchdowns in the Trojans’ sixth straight victory.
Lewis is the nation’s No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2026, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
The five-star quarterback committed to USC in August, choosing the Trojans over programs like Georgia, Alabama, Oregon and more.
Since Carrollton (6-1) lost 39-34 in its season opener to Langston Hughes (Georgia), which was ranked No. 19 in the country at the time, the Trojans have won six games in a row by an average margin of 39 points.
Lewis has passed for 1,575 yards and 24 touchdowns through seven games this season, with his best game coming this week.
As a freshman, the highly-coveted USC commit led Carrollton to the 7A state championship game by passing for 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns.
