College Football Hall of Fame pays tribute to black history month

The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame has partnered with KIA and Coca-Cola to commemorate Black History Month by honoring the players, coaches, teams and institutions who have made college football what it is today. During the month of February, the Hall of Fame will showcase immersive digital and physical displays featuring these trailblazers, highlighting their contributions and legacies in the sport.

The Hall of Fame will feature a different theme each week, starting with Michigan State, followed by Maryland Eastern Shore, Florida A&M, and Billy Joe.

The displays will include helmets, jerseys, statues, and other artifacts from these teams, as well as video content about the impact African Americans have had on the sport.

Coca-Cola will gift the first 250 college students with free admission to the Hall of Fame during February. College ID is required to take advantage of this offer. The Hall of Fame is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday during the month.

Visitors to the Hall of Fame will have the opportunity to learn about the players and teams who have shaped college football through the years and to witness first-hand the impact of African Americans on the sport. The Hall of Fame is located at 250 Marietta St., N.W. in Atlanta, GA.
