🕵️ The Gist: The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with several other law enforcement agencies, made 38 arrests on various felony and misdemeanor charges during a two-day multi-jurisdictional task force operation called “Operation Safe Summer 2024.”

- The task force made 277 attempts to arrest individuals with active warrants on June 4 and 5.
- 38 people were successfully arrested and transported to the DeKalb County Jail without incident.
- Charges included Aggravated Assault Weapon, Vehicular Homicide, Battery Family Violence, Theft by Taking, Terroristic Threats, Criminal Trespass, Robbery, and Felony Probation Violation, among others.
🤝 Collaborative Effort: The operation involved special units from the Sheriff’s Offices of Clayton, Fulton, Henry, and Rockdale Counties, as well as the DeKalb County Marshals Office, Stone Mountain Police Department, DeKalb County State Court Probation Office, and DeKalb Community Supervision.
