MORROW — A 15-year-old is dead after a shooting at a teen party in Clayton County, police say.
Clayton County Police Officers responded to a person shot call on Citizens Parkway in Morrow Saturday night. Upon arrival, officers located the 15-year-old near the entrance of the location dead from a gunshot wound.
The investigation revealed a party was held at the location where students from several Metro Atlanta high schools were in attendance.
One of the attendees was removed from the party and returned with an accomplice and shot multiple rounds into the building, killing the 15-year-old.
Upon law enforcement arrival, hundreds of teenagers were seen fleeing the scene.
This investigation is in the preliminary stages and ongoing at this time. The juvenile’s name will not be released at this time.
