Carrollton traveled north to Rome on Friday and made easy work of the previously undefeated Wolves.

Sophomores Julian “JuJu” Lewis and Kimauri Farmer paced the offense, and the Carrollton defense was on point in a 33-13 win for the Trojans in Week 3 of the Georgia high school football season.

Lewis threw four touchdown passes, two to Farmer and two to Alabama commit Caleb Odom, and Farmer finished with 200 yards rushing.

The second one to Odom was a stunner.

Rome entered the game 2-0, having outscored its two opponents 90-8.

Lewis, who’s already committed to USC, is the top-ranked sophomore in the country, but Farmer and the defense were big-time co-stars Friday.

Carrollton defensive back Kameron McClure’s pick-six in the fourth quarter put the game away.

Farmer became the Trojans’ starting running back after Bryce Hicks got hurt in Week 1, and the sophomore is making the most of his opportunity.

Carrollton (2-1) has now won two straight after its close loss in Week 1 to nationally ranked Langston Hughes.

D.K. Daniel scored the first TD for Rome (2-1), a 42-yard touchdown catch-and-run on a fourth-down play, and quarterback Reece Fountain scored the second on a 4-yard run.
