Douglas County star Aaron Gregory, the nation’s No. 9 overall prospect and No. 1 athlete in the class of 2026, knows ball.

And he has a long memory when it comes to the Georgia football program.

“You’re not from (Georgia) if you didn’t grow up watching them,” he said. “True freshman A.J. Green playing for (Georgia) and (George) Pickens definitely was a savage there. Georgia is definitely on my top list of schools to consider.”

This weekend, Gregory will take an unofficial visit to Georgia to get a closer look at the program.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound two-way standout is eager to see how Georgia uses its wide receivers and defensive backs.

“I love that they’re a fast-paced, high-energy team and coaching staff,” Gregory said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how the offense uses its receivers and, since I play both sides, definitely lookout at the Georgia defensive backs and safeties.”

Gregory already holds nearly 30 offers from some of the top programs in the country, highlighted by Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and many others.

This weekend, Kirby Smart’s program will get a chance to impress the elite in-state athlete in an attempt to separate themselves from the competition.
