T.I. Will Headline the A-Town Music Fest

Saturday, the much-awaited A-Town Music Fest makes a triumphant return with local rap legend T.I. leading the pack.

The event, first launched in 2017, pays homage to rap icons hailing from the Atlanta area. This year, it’s also honoring the 50th anniversary of hip hop, a milestone officially marked on Aug. 11.

T.I., celebrated for his significant contributions to hip hop and trap music, is making the rounds in hip hop tributes across the country. The A-Town Music Fest sets the tone for the week of festivities leading up to the golden jubilee of hip hop.

An array of talent accompanies T.I. on the lineup, featuring Youngbloodz, Pastor Troy, Young Dro, and Crime Mob, among others. The Big Oomp Reunion, Baby D, Hitman Sammy, DJ Unk, Raheem the Dream, Ghetto Mafia, MC Shy D, Trillville, Cool Breeze, Shop Boyz, DJ Jelly and DJ Kizzy Rock will also grace the stage.

The Wolf Creek Amphitheater, at 3025 Merk Road, SW, is more than just a concert venue. As a community hub in South Fulton, it’s a place where music lovers come together to enjoy the sounds of the season. Gates open at 3 p.m. and the concert begins at 5 p.m.

Attendants can choose between free and valet parking. They are also allowed to bring their lawn chairs, food, and beverages to enhance their concert experience.
