Georgia Residents Get Snap-Happy at the Gym: Study Finds Love for Selfies and Squats

A new study on the selfie habits of Americans has revealed that Georgia residents are one of the biggest gym selfie-takers in the nation. With an average of 1.71 selfies per week — 11th in the country, — Georgians can’t help but show off their gains.

According to the survey of 2,300 Americans, the bathroom mirror is still the number one place for taking selfies, followed closely by the car.

However, Georgia residents have taken it to the next level with 24% admitting to posting gym selfies — coming in second place nationally.

But wait, there’s more. The study also found that 9% of Georgia residents have taken and posted selfies of their behinds. We can only assume that these people are trying to show off their squats and hard work.

However, not everyone is all about showing their true selves in selfies. 35% of respondents admitted to editing out any unflattering aspects of their appearance.

The survey was conducted by Shiny Smile Veneers. You can read the whole study here.
