WARNER ROBINS — A Warner Robins man was shot in the face at his home by an unknown man who showed up at his door, according to police.
On 8/10/2020 at approximately 11:30pm Warner Robins Police responded to a home on Maplewood Drive in reference to a shooting at 11:30 p.m. Monday.
According to police, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right cheek area and was transported to Navicent Health for treatment. The injury is reported as non-life threatening.
The victim told police he was home alone when he heard knocking on his door, and upon opening the door an unknown white male fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
