He is far more than your average farmer; he is also an agricultural scientist as well who holds a bachelor’s degree in plant science (with a concentration in horticulture), a master’s degree in public health, and is completing a Ph.D. in Integrative Biosciences. More impressive is that Mr. Rowe was one of only fifteen members throughout the United States who was selected to be on the prestigious Advisory Committee for Minority Farmers & Ranchers for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (which advises the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture on policy issues, strategies, and recommendations). He is also a current member of the Georgia Organic Board. Sedrick Rowe has quickly become a trustworthy and reliable source of information concerning matters pertaining to farmers for notable figures like U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, Congressman Sanford Bishop, Senator Mitch McConnell, Senator Jon Ossoff, and other political-business powerbrokers in Georgia and Washington, D.C. This explains why Mr. Rowe was chosen to testify before Congress – twice – on issues regarding the plight of farmers and agriculture.\r\n\r\nFor those people who reside in communities outside of rural (farming) regions who might think the topic of ‘agriculture’ does not apply to you and your family, there is an enlightening documentary titled, ‘The Grab’, that Mr. Rowe would like you to watch at your leisure. This eye-opening piece will give you a deeper perspective of why agriculture is such an often overlooked, yet important topic, today and for the future.\r\n\r\nIf you or another member of your team would be interested in meeting and interviewing Sedrick Rowe, please let me know and we can arrange the opportunity. Perhaps then, you too, will come to realize why he is considered by many people to be the \”Rising Star and Voice of Agriculture throughout the State of Georgia!\”\r\n\r\nKind Regards,\r\n\r\nSan Pegram\r\n305.834.2864″,”type”:”textarea”,”meta”:[],”form_field_id”:”g32245-message”}]}
