Putnam County Sheriff Howard R. Sillis wrote a heartfelt letter to his community urging them to stay home and take the spread of coronavirus seriously. In the letter, the sheriff said he will be petitioning the Putnam County Board of Commissioners and the Eatonton City Council to legally require residents to stay home.
