ROCK SPRING — An 81-year-old Walker County deputy was arrested Tuesday and charged with Rape, Violation of Oath of Office and False Imprisonment.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Lafayette Police Department asked the GBI to investigate allegations that Deputy Jerry Glover, of Rock Spring, raped a woman while on duty.
“The investigation revealed that Glover had sex with a woman without her consent while on duty and in uniform,” GBI spokesperson Natalie Ammons said.
