Two more teens were arrested Monday in connection with last month’s shooting at a homecoming after-party in Elberton, where 15-year-old Bryshun Treviyus O’Brien Jordan was killed and seven others were injured.

Demarion Jamal Raiford, 18, and Zorion Tymal Sims, 19, are the latest to be charged in the escalating case tied to gang violence.

New Arrests: Raiford was taken into custody in Jefferson, while Sims was arrested in Carlton. Both face charges of murder, four counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and gang-related crimes.

Case Background: This brings the total to eight arrests stemming from the Oct. 12 shooting.

Charges: All eight suspects face charges related to murder, assault, and Georgia’s gang prevention law.

The Details: The shooting occurred during a homecoming after-party on Evergreen Drive in Elberton. Investigators believe the violence was gang-related, sparking arrests in multiple counties and states. Raiford and Sims were apprehended following searches of their respective homes. Both are awaiting extradition to Elbert County.
