Two suspects made off with a broken piece of jewelry valued at $14,000 after a brazen snatch-and-grab at the Gold and Diamond Castle Kiosk inside Greenbriar Mall on October 1.
The Details: According to police, at around 6:30 p.m., the suspects walked into the kiosk, located at 2841 Greenbriar Parkway, and asked to see an expensive piece of jewelry. As the employee retrieved the item to show them, one suspect grabbed it, attempting to take it by force. The struggle caused the jewelry to break, but the suspects managed to escape before security or police arrived.
Seeking Information: The Atlanta Police Department has shared surveillance footage of the suspects and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), online at StopCrimeAtl.org, or by texting CSGA and the tip to 738477. A reward of up to $2,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
