A fire broke out Monday evening at the sales office of Green Auto Brokers Inc., located at 5729 Bells Ferry Road in southern Cherokee County. Heavy smoke and flames were seen pouring from the back of the building just before 8 p.m., prompting an emergency response from local fire departments.

The Details: Units from Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services and the Woodstock Fire Department arrived and launched an aggressive effort to extinguish the fire. Firefighters searched the structure for potential victims and worked to contain the flames.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
