It was thought at one time that Dylan Raiola’s commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs was a done deal ahead of December 20th’s early National Letter of Intent period.
Now it’s seemingly up in the air as a university Raiola is very familiar with has emerged as a new potential contender to Georgia.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Raiola, the 2024 class top ranked quarterback, will visit the Nebraska Cornhuskers between December 15-17. The Cornhuskers are no strangers to the Raiola family as Dylan’s father, Dominic, played center for Nebraska from 1998-2000 before starring in the NFL for the Detroit Lions.

Raiola, a 5-star quarterback according to 247Sports, committed to the Bulldogs back on May 15th and has made multiple visits to Athens since that time. Now with this official visit to Nebraska upcoming, it certainly creates for a interesting finish to Raiola’s recruitment.
This 2023 season, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback had completed 159-of-250 passes (63.6 percent) for 2,819 yards, 34 touchdowns and just one mere interception. Raiola in his previous season at Chandler (Arizona), the signal caller completed 178-of-278 passes for 2,435 yards, 22 touchdowns and five interceptions.
