HAMPTON — Rather than canceling its fireworks show like other counties, Clayton County has found a way to have fireworks while social distancing. The county will have a drive-in fireworks show.

The fireworks will be Saturday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m. at Lovejoy Regional Park, 1935 McDonough Road in Hampton.

An 18-20 minute fireworks display will be provided by East Coast Pyrotechnics Inc.

The show will have 1,000 launches.

Parking spaces inside the park will be limited due to social distancing requirements.
