MACON — A Macon man who was missing since Saturday afternoon was found dead Thursday morning near a wooded embankment.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a person down just before 10 a.m. When deputies arrived they found a man unresponsive down a wooded embankment.
After further investigation, authorities were able to identify the man as 51-year-old Randall Head.
Head’s father reported him missing after Head left his home on Saturday afternoon and had not been seen or heard from for two days.
At this time the cause of death is still under investigation. The GBI will perform an autopsy on Head’s body.
