A U.S. Politician is Boycotting the Super Bowl. Here's Why

A United States politician is boycotting the Super Bowl ahead of kickoff in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Matt Gaetz, a U.S. Representative from Florida, announced on social media that he’s boycotting the Super Bowl due to the Black National Anthem.

Andra Day, a popular singer, is performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which is known as the Black National Anthem.

Cancel culture strikes again, apparently.

For those who aren’t so sensitive, Super Bowl 58 is kicking off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

The game will be airing on CBS.
