Fire shuts down Walmart in Peachtree City

PEACHTREE CITY — Firefighters battled a blaze at the Walmart in Peachtree City Wednesday night.

The fire began at about 7 p.m.

Peachtree City Police are investigating the fire and are asking residents to contact police with any relevant information regarding the potential cause of the fire.

If you observed any suspicious behavior that you think could be related and you have not already given a statement to an officer on scene police are asking you to contact contact Sgt. Brad Milstein at bmilstein@peachtree-city.org.

The store will be closed until further notice. If you are a Walmart customer and have questions about orders or services, store officials say you can contact the Newnan Walmart location.
