Hello,
With the holiday season quickly approaching, we’re excited to share some holiday cheer and insights from our latest study on the most festive states in the U.S. during Christmas! Since you previously wrote this article: https://thegeorgiasun.com/2023/12/15/georgias-favorite-alternative-christmas-dishes-are-perfect-for-the-peach-state/ related to Christmastime, we thought you’d find our findings for this year interesting—and we’re thrilled to share them with you!  You can view our full study here: https://www.innerbody.com/most-festive-state

Here are some of the most exciting takeaways from our article:

Santa’s Coming, Are You Ready… or Not? 🎅
Did you know that 92% of Americans are planning holiday festivities in 2024? West Virginia continues to lead the charge for the third consecutive year, with a festive 2,477 holiday-related searches! Meanwhile, the District of Columbia seems to be taking a more “Grinchy” turn with only 784 searches. That is not all! Nebraska and New Hampshire dropped out of the top five, making way for fresh contenders!

What’s Hot This Christmas? 🎁
Ho-Ho-Holy Moly! While ugly Christmas sweaters are still popular in places like California and Texas, this year, it’s all about the Santa hat! Surprisingly, states like Nevada and New Mexico are topping the charts for Santa hat searches. Meanwhile, classic holiday activities like watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music showed a decrease in online searches.

A Few More Fun Findings…
Our study also uncovered some fun regional trends:

Maine and Vermont lead the way for searches related to Advent calendars.
Alabama’s love for the Grinch stands out, while Pennsylvania has a soft spot for Rudolph.
In southern states, Christmas Eve dominates the search conversation, while Midwesterners are focused on the perfect stocking.
New York, particularly New York City, is known for countless beloved Christmas movies, but it ended up in 50th place in the ranking.

If you want to cover our findings, I would happily answer any questions or provide quotes.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season,
